The Beginning

(Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim)

This is the first time I felt I should give a try to blogging. Past four years of my life I have spent studying Engineering as an undergrad and I was barely active in social media. Well, I didn't have to be on social media. There were number of reasons behind it. First of all, college for an Engineering student is not so easy. It doesn't have to be hard all the time but it is definitely time consuming. Second of all, whatever free time I would get, I would spend that with my family and friends. I was also active in number of on campus social clubs and groups. So I hindered myself from many of the social medias. Now that I am out of college, free as a bird, I felt the necessity of being active on social medias. Not that this is the first time I learned about blogging. I was part of some of the blog sites but this would be my first time being regular in blogging.
Just like other recent college graduates, I have also applied to couple of jobs and had interviews over phone. Some of those interviews had one common question - What is your experience aside of academia. Hmm......... I don't have any industry level experience since I haven't done any internship...(Mic drop and Call drop)
Well that doesn't mean I just wasted my pastimes for last four years doing nothing. Indeed I have done number of fun projects, many of them being programming projects. However, my biggest draw back is my callousness towards documentation. Even though, I have worked as research assistant in multiple professors' labs, if somebody asks me what is the most interesting thing you have done as an Engineer I won't be able to answer since I didn't document my works well enough.
That's one of the reasons why I started writing blogs now - to DOCUMENT all my works from now on. It doesn't really matter how many likes do I get or how many followers do I get, I will be able to pull my works out of my blogs to describe to others. Also, I will be able to easily pass my work on to others if they would be willing to develop those projects. I believe I will be able to find at least half an hour every day to write down any new and cool stuff I have learned.
I will end my first blogger post right here.
